In Noam's ways - the civil service center

When Noam was just five years old, she declared: “When I grow up, I will be Prime Minister.” For her, this was not a dream but a deep inner conviction about her purpose in life. Noam, our sunshine, carried this vision with her wherever she went: in high school, in her youth movement, in her pre-army academy, and in the army. She always stood out for her leadership, her talent, and her love of people. When choosing her military service, she asked to serve in the Gaza strip area “because it is the most meaningful.” Only two days later, while serving as an observer at the Nahal Oz base, she was killed on Black Saturday, October 7, 2023. From Noam’s vision and in light of the needs of Israeli society today, the Avramovitz family and the nonprofit ‘Tashtit – For Strengthening Public Service,’  joined together to establish: “In Noam Ways – The Public Service Centre in Memory of Noam Avramovitz.”This is the first social-educational centre of its kind, aiming to cultivate a new generation of dedicated, excellent, and service-driven public servants, and to restore the value of public service in the eyes of young people in Israel. Your support will enable us to: • Develop educational programs for the future generation of public servants in schools, youth movements, pre-military academies, universities, and other educational-social frameworks. • Create digital content that will increase public awareness of the importance of public service. • Hold conferences, seminars, and gatherings that will expose thousands of young people to public service as a meaningful life choice. “Israel’s resilience will not be determined only on the battlefield – but also in government offices, local authorities, and every place where public service cares for the citizens of the state.” ☀️ In Noam Ways – we continue what she dreamed of but did not have the chance to fulfil.
