Establishing a Memorial in Memory of Ziv Chen

Establishing a Memorial in Memory of Ziv Chen Ziv Chen served as a communications officer and was called up on the terrible morning of October 7th. He fought bravely and served in Gaza for several difficult months. On February 12, 2024, Ziv was killed during a courageous battle with terrorists in Khan Yunis. Ziv was a person of deep character. He sought holiness in everything he did, even in the small details of everyday life, and always knew how to see the good in every situation. We have chosen to continue Ziv’s legacy by strengthening the settlement of the land and the continuity of life. We have taken upon ourselves to build and establish a memorial in his memory. The memorial will include a pergola with benches and a natural water spring, overlooking the beautiful views of the Jerusalem and Hebron hills. This will be a place to sit, reflect, and connect to the land that Ziv loved and for which he sacrificed so much, so that we can be here today. Ziv gave so much for all of us. Now it is our turn to give back and help carry forward his mission of connection to the land and to the spirit. We would be very grateful for your participation.
