קייטנה לילדים עם צרכים מיוחדים-בני עקיבא מצפה נבו

אנו חברי בני עקיבא במעלה אדומים, מצפה נבו מקיימים זו השנה ה-12 קייטנת איל"ן שהיא קייטנה לילדים בעלי מוגבלויות פיזיות ומנטליות שונות (ניווני שרירים, שיתוקי מוחין ועוד). הקייטנה תערך בתאיריכים י״ט-כה תמוז (22-28/7). הקייטנה מתקיימת במשך שבוע שלם, ובמהלכו אנו יוצאים עם החניכים לשלל אטרקציות ברחבי הארץ, ולפעילויות שונות ומגוונות. קייטנה זו מאפשרת לילדים האלו ליהנות מחופשת הקיץ ולשכוח קצת מהשגרה היומיומית הקשה שאיתה הם מתמודדים. בנוסף הקייטנה מאפשרת להוריהם שבוע מנוחה מהטיפול השוטף והצמוד עם ילדיהם. את הקייטנה מפעילים בני נוער בלבד, והם דואגים לילדים במשך שבוע שלם הן בפן הפיזי והן בפן המנטלי. בשביל הילדים האילו הקייטנה הזו היא אחת ההזדמנויות הבודדות לחוות שבוע שלם נטו חברתי ללא הוריהם ומוריהם. הקייטנה אינה נתמכת ברצינות על ידי שום גוף רשמי ולכן היא נבנית על כספי תרומות בלבד! במשך החודשים שלפני הקייטנה אנו עושים מאמצים רבים להשיג את תרומות על מנת לקיים את הקייטנה הזו. בואו תעזרו לנו להגשים חלום, בואו לקחת חלק בשבוע של טוב וחסד! Camp Ilan is a week long summer camp for kids with special needs. This summer camp is run by the youth of the Bnei Akiva snif of Mitzpe-Nevo, Ma'ale Adumim, who both orginize the camp logisticly and volunteer as councelrs during the camp itself to take care the special needs campers 24/7 wether it comes to meal times, showers, participating in different activities and etc. This camp alowes the families of said campers to lay back for a week from the extensive around the clock care-taking of their special child. (While knowing that they intrusted their children with youth who are more then capible of taking care of them with much heart and grace.) This week also benefits the child as it lets them forget of their difficult day to day life, and instead create a week full of fun and excitment where they create long lasting memories of joy and happiness and a long lasting bond with their counclers. We take the campers on various trips such as, themeparks, zoos, pools, cinemas, lazer-tag and etc. This camp runs souly on volunteer work and donations. The cost of running this camp stands at 90,000₪ (about 25,000$). Come take part of this special project and help us create this special and unforgetable experience for these children.
