Ben Hashitin campaign

The Ben HaShitin Association – Arava- Hatzeva/Faran/Ein Yahav Premilitary Program – has been active for 10 years. The Association operates through support and donations that enable us to extend our activities, realize our objectives and positively impact the Arava, Israeli society and the ability to introduce positive change to all possible arenas. The Association began operating in 2009 with 20 participants and today, just a decade later, 150 have enrolled in first-year programs at Hatzeva, Faran and Ein Yahav and the new second-year program. The Association has been operating the “Avoda Ivrit” program for 8 years, providing young veterans an opportunity for employment, communal living, enrichment and social substance within the Arava community. In addition, the Association operates the Bein HaShitin Farm, which specializes in educational agricultural tourism and is opening its third year of activity. We are launching this campaign in order to further expand the Association’s extensive activities, aiming to continue growing and developing with new programs that will impact the Arava and Israeli society at large: Increasing the contribution to Arava and Negev communities; Recruiting more participants of the social periphery and offering scholarships; Increasing our impact on the Arava community, agriculture and settlement; Deepening participant and alumni social involvement nationwide; Establishing a student village for program alumni, taking part in establishing a new settlement in the Arava, and more! It is only with your help that we will be able to progress toward another decade of activities!
