It is customary on the eve of Yom Kippur (or on the days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) to take a chicken for "Kaparot", to redeem us of our sins. But if a person cannot do the Kaparot with a chicken, he can do it with money, and give that money to charity (=Tzedaka). About 'Nehora' Organization 'Nehora' has been active for more than 15 years by bringing Jews closer to G-d, Torah and Mitzvot, which is done in a peaceful, caring and genuine way. Various rabbis, from Merkaz Yeshiva as well as Haredi rabbis, teach in our Beit-Midrash, connecting all 'Yrei Hashem'. Our activities include men and women from all circles of Israeli society - mainly non-religious and chozrim betshuva from all over the country. The Holly Zohar in parashat Truma says: "To wake-up Jews and get them closer to Hashem, has the greatest virtue more than anything else. If people would have known the number of blessings and rights in this world and the next, doing so, they would have pursue Jews closer to G-od as one pursues life." Join us and be our partner in this important and unique project by donating to "Nehora", thus, helping more Jews to learn, believe and be close to the Jewish tradition.
