Run in Jerusalem

Run in Jerusalem brings together runners from across the world to run in the Jerusalem Marathon. It is a joint project of Tikvot, World Mizrachi and World Bnei Akiva. Once a year, adults and teenagers, from Israel and abroad, come together for a true Zionist experience – to run through the streets of Jerusalem and spend a weekend together with wounded IDF soldiers and victims of terror who rehabilitated their life through sports. It is a weekend where one learns the true meaning of sacrifice, hope, and willpower. The Jerusalem Marathon isn’t merely another sports event. It is a walk (or rather a run) through 3,000 years of history. It is a melting pot where religious and non-observant, young and old, right-wing and left-wing remove all barriers and stride as one through the streets of “the city that was joint together” (Tehillim/Psalms 122:3).
