No farmer stands alone!!

Israeli farmers face a challenge that threatens the very existence of the State of Israel. In fact, they protect us all. Farmers established the State and continue to safeguard its national borders and open spaces. They are our connection to the soil of Israel and to our roots. Without agriculture, there is no Zionism. 18,000 – That is the number of farmers in Israel. Each year, this number is shrinking, which is something that should concern us all. Today, more than ever - they shoulder a heavy burden and are in need of aid. HaShomer HaChadash has helped some 500 Israeli farmers cope with agricultural crime, a lack of working hands and more. This is what we do day in and day out, hour after hour: safeguarding the fields, providing agricultural assistance and educating a new generation valuing agricultural work. But this is just a drop in the ocean. There are so many farmers that we just couldn't reach and we now are approaching zero hours. These brave individuals are about to give up. We must not let this happen. This is why we turn to you. In order for us all to dramatically increase the number of farmers receiving aid, we need your support, to expand our operations to hundreds of sites throughout the country, to stock up on agricultural tools, to reinforce patrol vehicles and observation equipment, and to educate the next generation - connecting them to their roots, to the land and to the soil of Israel. If Zionism is important to you, if the future of agriculture worries you, if you believe that the connection to the land must be maintained, if you, like us, cannot imagine the landscape without Israeli agriculture – now is the time to lend your support and strengthen our farmers. Your support is the investment that will allow us to continue to make this great enterprise grow and flourish with all its might. This year, no farmer stands alone.
