929 is a social initiative aimed at strengthening diversity and openness in Israeli society through highlighting the Tanach as a shared treasure that embodies diverse and broad perspectives. Tanach is our primary source for creating an inclusive dialogue that connects groups of different religious and philosophical views, in order to forge solidarity and mutual respect. The initiative launched with great success five years ago, and has attracted over 240,000 participants from diverse backgrounds through the 929 rich-content website, social networks and study communities. 929 is not a theoretical idea - It is a living, breathing project in the digital space and through study groups across the country. Unfortunately, the economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has not spared 929. Now more than ever, we need your support! 929 aspires to survive and to thrive, to grow, influence and strengthen an open and respectful discourse, based on our shared cultural assets.
