Cracking the Glass Ceiling

Cracking the Glass Ceiling is a unique initiative, targeting 14-18 year old girls from social and geographic peripheries, with the goal of facilitating their choice of and success in STEM rich education. The ultimate goal is for these young women to finish high school with a quality matriculation (bagrut) diploma that includes advanced math (4-5 units). The program is premised on a long-term work model, encompassing – per participant – a five-year process, beginning in 8th grade. The program provides integrated interventions on three main levels: Scholastic assistance, empowerment and role modeling.
