SAVING LIVES!!!

Over the past decade we have witnessed many people suffer from cardiac arrest, some of whom were in excellent shape and without any known medical issues. Using a defibrillator shortly after the moment of collapse can save approximately 90% of these patients. It is therefore crucial that defibrillators be installed in public parks and playgrounds so that they are easily accessible to the community. In collaboration with Keren Efrat, The Efrat Local Council is launching the "Seal Us in the Book of Life" campaign to place 15 defibrillators in public parks and playgrounds throughout Efrat. The goal of this campaign is to enable a rapid medical response that can save lives. The Talmud states "Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved the entire world" (Sanhedrin 37).
