"And now you write this poem…"
The last commandment, of 613 Tora commandments, we are obligated to fulfill is to write a Torah scroll, to perpetuate and to follow..
The Ezra Hadar Ganim branch aims to commemorate Tamar or Tamar Fenigstein or as everyone called her "Fenig”..
Tamar was an apprentice, instructor, and most devoted graduate of the Ezra Hadar Ganim branch and their movement. Tamar always attended and took a great part in organizing different activities, trips, Shabbos and various events.
Tamar was loved by everyone who got a chance to get acquainted with her. Tamar was a light that connected people, console and cheer them up, made them smile, made them happy. Her incredible kindness and joy of life was as contagious as her rolling laughter.
Tamar was a daughter, who loved her family unconditionally family, a granddaughter that never forgot to call Grandpa Moshe and Grandma Sarah to share with them her day. Her cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, teachers, mentors meant a world to her, meant a big family.
Tamar began her national service at the Shaarei Zedek Hospital at-risk pregnancy ward. Despite her short time there she was immediately accepted, loved, and respected by staff members and patients. Tamar had a big heart, the heart that was listening and always eager to help regardless the color of skin age or religion. .
On Wednesday 6th of Kislev 5780 (on the 4th of December 2019), Tamar went out with some new and old friends, and never came back… she was torn from this world that would never be the same without her light of life. Tamar tragically died in the city train accident in Jerusalem..
The friends, the apprentices, the mentors, the members of the Ulpana and the national service, the family members all want to commemorate the date and remember big heart, Tamar Fenigshtein. In order to do that, we decided to write a Torah scroll in her memory that will be the Torah scroll of the branch. The branch does not possess a Torah scroll, no Tora ark and no curtain of the ark, and no Tamar.
The Torah scroll will be a memorial candle for Tamar for many years and coming generations. The Torah scroll in the her native branch will be the most worthy commemoration of Tamar..
We kindly ask you to participate in a donation, purchase a letter or a chapter and thus you will also take part and be a partner in the commemoration of our Tamar, Tamar Fenigstein "Fenig".
We express our gratitude and appreciation to the companies, the trainees, the graduates, the national services, the youth organization and the whole family..
Donate a letter, verse or Parsha and together we will continue her singing, singing out of joy and love for each and every one, without any partitions, we will commemorate Tamar until the coming of our righteous Messiah..
