Grow Together

During this time, when the rifts in Israeli society are deepening and public discourse is becoming increasingly decisive, Meitarim continues to provide an educational and social alternative and be a voice for unifying the social discourse through integrated, inclusive education. It is not a dream that religious, secular and traditional children are learning together within integrated, educational frameworks. It is the reality! Meitarim’s students are actively getting to know one another, growing up together and learning how to cooperate, despite the differences. We, at Meitarim, believe that it all begins with education. We believe that investing today in integrated education, from an early age, will create a more tolerant and inclusive society in the future. After 20 years of working in the field, Meitarim has not only yielded significant results but interest and on-the-ground work for integrated education has continued to grow. Meitarim’s network includes over 140 educational frameworks (preschools, primary schools, high schools and mechinot) throughout Israel with 13,845 students. Every year, we receive more and more request, our work grows and expands and new schools open as hundreds of children gain integrated education, grounded in hope for a more tolerant society. We want to continue to grow, to influence and strengthen the values of social solidarity, tolerance and inclusivity in Israeli society, even during this current and challenging financial and social reality. We have therefore decided to do a mass fundraising campaign. If the future of the Israeli society worries you, if it is important for you to invest in the future for a better, more inclusive Israeli society, if you believe that the values of tolerance, inclusion and a unifying discourse must be strengthened – support us now and strengthen integrated education. Now more than ever, we need your partnership. Together we can continue to ‘revolutionize’ education and Israeli society through integrated education.
