Your donation today can transform a motivated but underprepared Israeli teen into a resilient civilian and leader, ready to serve our nation. The Challenge - The Responsibility GapAs Israel faces unprecedented regional threats and escalating emergencies, the burden on our youth has never been heavier. While deeply patriotic, young Israelis from the periphery often lack the formal tools to bridge societal divides, navigate trauma, find their confidence and purpose, and turn their potential into active citizenship.  Our Mission: Equipping a Generation to Lead Israel Forward In our 6–10 month pre-army Youth Citizenship Program (Mechinot) we break down silos and foster equal opportunity, resilience, and shared responsibility. We give youth what they need to carry their civilian responsibilities: • Diverse Peer Groups: Living together and assuming shared responsibility. • Resilience Training: Building mental and physical strength through outdoor challenges. • Social Awareness: Seminars on identity, democracy, and geopolitics. • Community Action: Over 100 volunteer hours per participant. A Proven Model• 2,200+ Alumni shaping Israeli society since 2011. • 6 Campuses, housing over 300 participants annualy.  • 44% in Command Roles (vs. 2-4% in similar socio-economic areas). • 46% Volunteer Rate (double the national average). “Derech Eretz transforms potential into responsibility, diversity into unity, and youth into mensches.”The Moment of Crisis and Unprecedented NeedThe ongoing war and threats have created an urgent need for our program; more than 3000 worthy applicants wanted to take part, while we were able to facilitate only 10%. During the war we established a new campus in Ashkelon, a frontline city facing years of trauma, which will increase our capacity by 20%. The Financial ChallengeLaunching a new campus is significantly more costly than maintaining a veteran one: • High Overheads: Rent for temporary, decentralized facilities and complex logistics. • Essential Staffing: A full team of 5 educators is required even for a small cohort to ensure safety, mental health support, and impact. • The Funding Gap: While veteran campuses receive 80% state support, Ashkelon currently receives only $160k out of a $460k budget. Giving Opportunities - Bridging the $300,000 Gap• $1,000 – Giver: Covers a participant’s needs for one month. • $6,000 – Pioneer: Sponsors one participant for a full year. • $12,000 – Enabler: Funds scholarships for underprivileged youth. • $25,000 – Pathfinder: Sponsors a core educational seminar. • $50,000 – Catalyst: Funds a major educational pillar. • $100,000 – Trailblazer: Adopts the 2026-27 Ashkelon cohort. • $250,000 – Mason: Permanent home naming opportunity. Help us build the foundation for Israel's future.
