Support the Tekoa first response team

Who we are: Yossi Antopolsky & Aryeh Hecht. We love running and cycling and are planning on completing 4 Duathlons this year for a cause that is very dear to us - the security first response team, aka "Kitat Konenut" of Tekoa, where we volunteer. We live in Tekoa: An Israeli Yishuv in Judea and Samaria started in 1977, located 16 km south of Jerusalem. Tekoa falls under the jurisdiction of the Gush Etzion Regional Council. The population is roughly 4,200 and growing rapidly. We volunteer in the first response security team, aka "Kitat Konenut." We are trained community members who are able and available to respond at a moment’s notice should the need arise. Since we live in the community in which we serve we have firsthand intimate knowledge of the area we are assigned to protect. We train once a month in target shooting, urban warfare, and drills to keep us fit and ready to act should we be called on. We are fundraising: For new needed vital equipment to keep our community safe. Be part of our journey and help us fundraise $14,000 so we can be ready to protect our own. The money will go towards buying 35 tactical helmets for the team. These helmets are lighter and stronger than others. They will be a vital part of keeping all our team members safe in dangerous situations!
