No Baby Left Hungry

We’ve reached our initial goal! Thanks to you, Am Yisrael! But let us not forget that here in Israel, babies are hungry! No, we’re not a third world country Yet, here amongst us there are thousands of hungry babies. The monthly budget falls short for too many families in Israel. Whether it is a family with nine children with one of its members fallen ill, or a family who invested their life’s savings into fertility treatment, or another blessed with triplets but with one of the babies is in need for an expensive lactose-free substitute formula. Stories such as these abound. These families may be your neighbors across the street or friends at work. This can happen to anyone. What can mothers and fathers do when faced with the anguish and cries of their hungry babies? At times, their only solution is diluting the baby formula in an effort to extend the shekel and squash baby’s hunger. This happens way too often, and it is tragic. The health ministry advises that inadequate nutrition for babies arrests their normal development and impacts babies’ health for years to come! Malnutrition and hunger are not just challenges in faraway Africa, it is the reality of many families in Israel and it defies logic. We must put an end babies’ hunger in Israel. We hear the babies’ cries and we help! The Ish Tzadik Haya Foundation supports and assists families who have fallen on hard times and provides them with formula, disposable diapers, and clothes for their babies on a monthly basis. We need your help! Am Yisrael’s response to our holiday campaign was tremendous – THANK YOU! We have reached initial goal, and thanks to you thousands of Israeli babies did not go to sleep hungry during the chagim and beyond. Let us continue and support our innocent babies And may this merit stand for you and your families throughout the year With your help, babies will no longer go hungry! With your help, families will be able to provide the proper nutrition for their babies! With your help, mothers’ hearts will no longer tear hearing the cries of their hungry babies! With your help, these babies will grow healthy and develop properly! A month supply of formula and disposable diapers 400NIS A annual supply of formula and disposable diapers 4800NIS
