Help "Katef Le Katef" reach 1000 families

Katef Le Katef - advancing populations dealing with poverty and providing them with a real opportunity for change and for exiting the poverty cycle After winning the Jerusalem Prize for "Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Treatment of Poverty", we are currently expanding our activities and aim to reach 1000 families this year! Your help will enable us to raise 80,000 shekels and to provide guidance to these 1000 families. Katef Le Katef operates projects nation-wide, providing personal guidance to families dealing with life in poverty though a holistic multi-dimensional model covering all areas of life: quality of life, financial management, education and employment. The families are accompanied for 2 years with the aim of helping them create significant change in their lives and enabling them to exit the poverty cycle. The entire process is result orientated, involving collaborations with additional communal figures and is closely evaluated. The process includes financial support to advance the families on their path to exiting poverty as well as other components such as occupational training, financial counselling, academic or occupational courses, parental empowerment and more. To date we have provided guidance to hundreds of families showing impressive accomplishments: • Overall 67% integrated in the work force, including persons who have been out of work for years. • The families' income increased by an average of 2,500 NIS. • Over 80% of debts were reduced or settled. The guidance process changes the lives of the families! They receive a real opportunity to embark on a new life. With your help we will accomplish our mission of reaching 1,000 families!
