Project Magen of Maale Adummim:

A central purpose of Machatzit Hashekel (SilverHalf-Shekel Donation) was to prepare the roads that would allow for the olei laregel (pilgrims) to reach Jerusalem. Thousands of Ethiopian Jews, who have physically reached the borders of Jerusalem are economically, psychologically and culturally incapable of partaking in the good and the blessings of the modern-day miracle of Israel. Please help us in our work with integrating and empowering the Ethiopian-Israeli community of Maale Adummim. We have one week until Purim and the needs are overwhelming. Donations of any amount are life changing. All proceeds go specifically towards the Magen Program of Maale Adummim for the Empowerment of Ethiopian Youth at Risk.
