Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Israel Since 1967, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Israel has stood alongside CF patients and their families in their daily struggle with the disease. The foundation works tirelessly to improve the quality of life for patients and ensure their well-being, providing comprehensive support and ongoing assistance. Our goal is to be the driving force behind improving the lives of CF patients in Israel. We achieve this through a wide range of activities and initiatives: • Raising public awareness about CF and the challenges it poses to patients and their families. • Promoting and improving pre-pregnancy genetic screening to identify carriers, a vital step in preventing the disease. • Advancing early diagnosis of affected infants, which significantly impacts life expectancy and quality of life. • Actively working to include innovative drugs and treatments in the health basket, ensuring optimal and up-to-date care. • Guiding and assisting families in exercising their rights with various entities, including health insurance providers, the National Insurance Institute, and the Ministry of Health. • Providing financial support for a variety of essential activities, such as respiratory physiotherapy, purchase of medical equipment not included in the health basket, individual educational assistance for sick children, emotional support, and physical fitness activities. At the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Israel, we believe that every CF patient deserves a full and quality life.
