Shlomo Hammer - Champions Run with Shalva!

I have been a runner for the past 22 years. I have run thousands of kilometers in training and have run almost every kind of running race from track races to ultramarathons. Running has always been my passion. Therefore, this November for the first time I will be taking my running to another level, not physically but socially. On November 6, I will take part in the New York city Marathon, and I will be running to raise money on behalf of the Shalva organization. Shalva is a non-profit organization that supports and empowers individuals with disabilities and their families. The organization works with a wide range of individuals with disabilities such as; developmental delays, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders, the Autism spectrum, special needs with recognized handicaps, Down syndrome, and more.
