Embracing Holocaust survivors 365 days a year

The Foundation for the Welfare of Holocaust Victims assists, in every way possible, those who survived the horrors of the Holocaust, and now, in their advanced years, lack the resources to live in dignity. The Foundation is the most significant organization in Israel that provides these services at no cost to low income Holocaust survivors': • “Living with Dignity" – making flats accessible and suitable for in-home care. • “Seeing clearly” – distributing free eyeglasses. • Panic buttons and medical service saving life. • Immediate Assistance Fund – o Medical needs: dental treatment, medication, medical accessories and treatment o Various payments, such as preventing water/electricity cutoff o Food vouchers/coupons, food packages o Basic household equipment: radiators and blankets in the winter; fans and air conditioners in the summer o Monthly financial support for Holocaust survivors in need o Any other support contributing to the well-being of Holocaust survivors in Israel • “Lonely, But Not Alone” Volunteer Program – More than 2,600 volunteers helps survivors to cope with their loneliness. Our activities are mainly supported by generous contributions from Israeli donors which we are grateful to them. Regrettably, we are often forced to refuse requests from survivors, due to limited resources. The need have rendered us to expend our effort around the globe and every donation will be most appreciated. Thank you.
