Refa Na - Lifesaving Medication Fund

No one should ever have to choose between buying medicine, food, or paying the electric bill! “Refa Na” was born after we identified a phenomenon of people in Ariel with financial difficulties and in need of chronic medications, who simply don’t have the money to buy them. “Refa Na” is a fund for the purchase of medicines for the needy. A person who has difficulty buying the medication he needs is referred to our committee made up of doctors, social workers and ethical advisors, and with a minimum amount of bureaucracy, we subsidize the chronic medication he needs. The subsidy is made according to the doctor's prescription and all funds go to the purchase of the medicine. Three years ago we set out on this path and with your help, the residents of Ariel together raised 200 thousand NIS for those who need the assistance. We helped patients purchase the medicines they need, and with your donations we made a dramatic change in their lives! Unfortunately, the need for assistance is ongoing, and we are holding another campaign to be able to continue helping the people in the program as well as helping others who need it. Thank you to all those who donated and those who will continue to donate, with your help no patient in Ariel will have to give up on his health due to financial reasons.
