**English Below!!* Bonjour à tous ! Je m’appelle Warren Ovadia et je cours depuis 8 ans. J'ai terminé mon premier marathon en février 2022 et me voici à nouveau prêt pour mon prochain défi ! En novembre prochain, je representerai l’Etat d’Israel et le Peuple d’Israel au marathon de New York. J'ai fait mon Aliyah en 2014 depuis Paris afin de réaliser mon idéal sioniste et c'est un grand honneur de pouvoir représenter notre pays et notre peuple dans une course de renommée mondiale. C'est la première fois dans l'histoire du marathon de NYC que l'État juif sera officiellement représenté par une délégation de 60 coureurs ! !! Mais, la mission principale ici est de représenter Shalva et je suis immensément fier d'avoir le privilège de le faire. Shalva c’est quoi ? Shalva est une organisation à but non lucratif qui fournit un soutien gratuit à la réadaptation des personnes souffrant de tous types de handicaps tout au long de leur vie. Shalva propose des programmes qui enrichissent la vie de milliers de personnes et de leurs familles grâce à une variété de services tels que la thérapie, les cours éducatifs et récréatifs, la formation à l'emploi et la vie autonome pour faciliter l'intégration dans la société. Shalva fournit donc de soins transformateurs aux personnes ayant des besoins spéciaux, favorisant aisni l'inclusion sociale. Rien de tout cela ne serait possible sans le soutien et les dons généreux qu'ils reçoivent de personnes comme vous ! This November I will be participating in the New York City Marathon on behalf of the State of Israel and its people. I made Aliyah in 2014 from Paris in order to fulfill my Zionist ideal and it is the greatest honor to be able to represent our beloved country and people in a world-renowned race. This is the first time in NYC Marathon history that the Jewish State will be officially represented by a delegation of 60 runners!!! Shalva is a non-profit organization that provides free support to rehabilitate individuals with special needs throughout the progression of their lives. Their programs enrich the lives of thousands of people and their families through various services such as therapy, educational and recreational classes, employment training, and independent living in order to help facilitate integration into society. Shalva therefore provides transformative care to people with special needs, promoting social inclusion. None of this would be possible without the generous support and donations they receive from people like you!
