Nehenim B'Noam

Nehenim B'naom is a non-profit organization that provides kids from the social periphery in Bet Shemesh with extracurricular activities provided by volunteers. The initiative was piloted in 2018 in memory of Noam Ivgy, and has grown steadily ever since, enhancing children’s abilities while providing them support, and training a new generation of social leaders. Activities include: -An afterschool homework, activity, and dinner club -A music program for kids from households with children/parents with special needs -A computer lab that recycles donated computers, fixes them, and distributes them to needy families -Programming for volunteers that enriches and trains them to further give back to the community Our goal is to enlarge our current educational staff and programming ability, working within the community to create positive connections.
