Gershon Salomon z"l was a legend of the land of Israel.
6th generation in Israel - he was born in Jerusalem, was an activist in the Beitar youth movement, a member of the Irgun (Etzel), and an IDF officer wounded in battle.
Later on in his life, Salomon became a Jerusalem councilman, a member of the board of the Heirut movement, and the founder of the HaTchiyah political party.
Salomon was also one of the earliest Temple Mount pioneers, founded the "Temple Mount and Eretz Yisrael Faithful" movement, and fought for the Temple Mount almost alone when hardly any Jews ascended the Mount. He was even prevented from entering the Temple Mount for about 28 years due to fear of Arab riots.
Tragically, Salomon passed away two months ago.
Salomon z"l dedicated his life to Jewish ascendance and liberating and making the Temple Mount a site full of Jews.
Our Beyadenu guides carry on his legacy and maintain Jewish presence on the Mount in summer and winter, rain or shine, and even in snow!
The Gershon Salomon Guiding Fund's purpose:
The Fund will sponsor and run the Beyadenu Guiding Project through which thousands of Jews, exposed to the Temple Mount for the first time, ascend every year in free-of-charge guided tours.
_______________________________________________________________
For the past eight years, Beyadenu guides have been:
1) Standing at the front lines of ascent to the Temple Mount!
2) Welcoming every ascender with a smile!
3) Maintaining Jewish presence during all operating hours!
4) Leading the change in Jewish ascendance and presence on the Mount!
Rain or shine, heat and cold, and even in snow, our guides are present on the site, guarding the holiest place in Judaism and connecting thousands of Jewish ascenders!
The guiding is free of charge. Our professional guides welcome the ascenders, explain and accompany them before, during, and after the visit. There is a guide every day, waiting at the Temple Mount entrance.
We invite you to become a part of the Beyadenu supporters family and help sustain this important project.
For Jewish sovereignty on the Temple Mount!
For the ascenders!
For the education of future generations!
Over the past year, our guides have led thousands of ascenders to the Temple Mount and thus helped break the record of ascenders in 2015: 51,404 Jews in just one year!
Unfortunately, there are those who do not look favorably at this amazing record. In recent months, the police have been trying to eliminate the Beyadenu training project through arrests, bans, and confiscation of guiding equipment.
This is what happened to Beyadenu guide Roei Zaga, who was arrested on the Temple Mount by the police who claimed that he had prostrated on the Mount -- despite his denials -- and thus "violated public order." He was taken to the police station for questioning and eventually banned from the Temple Mount for six months.
Another guide, Eliyasaf Ofan was arrested and banned from the Temple Mount after an Arab attacked him with a sandal. Ariel Guggenheim was violently arrested on the Temple Mount and banned for six months.
After the attempt to harm the project by banning the guides from the mount did not help and the project continues to operate with your help other donors, the police began harassing the organization's training aids. On Tuesday the 7th of Cheshvan (1/11/2022) the police prevented a Beyadenu representative from ascending the mount with a guiding map with which the guides ascend each day.
On Monday the 13th of Cheshvan, the police confiscated from our guide, Eliyasaf Ofan, the map with which he ascends the Temple Mount every week.
Now is the time to contribute and strengthen the Guiding Project of Beyadenu – Returning to the Temple Mount!
One week of guiding on the Temple Mount (five days): NIS 3,000
Four days of guiding on the Temple Mount: NIS 2,400
Three days of guiding on the Temple Mount: NIS 1,800
Two days of guiding on the Temple Mount: NIS 1,200
One day of guiding on the Temple Mount: NIS 600
With a monthly donation to the Guiding Project, you can help us recruit more guides to create a reserve of guides in case of harassment, and purchase guiding equipment to replace the equipment confiscated by the police.
