Giving from your Heart - a Good Place for All

The ambassadors campaign of the Method and Wisdom NPO is underway for the third year in a row. This is an annual fundraising event, which for us, is like air to breathe. The unique and magical compound, where we carry out the activities of the association in general and the activities of the 'Makom Tov' project in particular, and which gives hope and confidence to all who come through its gates - costs much money every month, and to maintain it we need your contribution. The campaign aims to allow the association and all of us to continue and strengthen our doing good in the world in all fields of activity, bringing hearts closer together for peace, activities for disadvantaged populations, spreading the wisdom of Buddhism, and giving practical tools to spiritual practitioners - we can all make a fundamental change in the world. We don't fundraise to receive; we fundraise so we can give. This campaign is not a luxury – this is why we're here - to benefit everyone! Every donation is essential to continue our important enterprise and fulfill the association's vision. Method and Wisdom NPO has been operating since 2007 with the ambition to support and help all those who desire to improve their lives and their environment by studying and practicing Buddhist wisdom and developing compassion and benevolent love; in the community, in education, in relationships, in family life, in business, and every aspect of life. The association's various activities, teachings, and courses taught in Israel are open to all, and most of them are provided free of charge (on the basis of donations). In 2013, the Arava Spiritual Center was inaugurated in Moa Oasis. It has been founded and managed by the community of disciples of Lama Dvora, who is also its spiritual director. The center supports and encourages social actions based on universal values of love, giving, compassion, wisdom, and morality. As part of bringing the hearts together, we also collaborate with other associations and communities of different nationalities and religions while applying a pluralistic, respectful, and cherishing approach to other authentic faiths and traditions. Through the arm of Ehvam - International Spiritual Center for Peace, the community of the center works to promote harmony and peace in our region, and the various initiatives of its members aim to make the center a good place - a place that supports disadvantaged populations and communities whose voices are not heard. On February 13-15, 2023, we plan to hold the fourth ‘One Heart’ convention, a gathering to bring hearts together for peace; These will be three days of celebrating brotherhood in the desert; Palestinians and Israelis, Arabs, Druze, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, and Jews - we will all together open our hearts, and open a consciousness of harmony, serenity, and peace. In addition, we host associations and activists in the spiritual field, as well as groups and families of different nationalities, to create a nucleus that forms the basis for developing study and practice groups of "developing the compassionate heart" shortly. The Makom Tov team works to locate and host disadvantaged populations whose voices are not heard and to create dedicated activities with them in the spiritual center. This initiative aims to allow individuals and groups whose hands cannot reach and who do not receive welfare, to participate in the activities at the spiritual center. The team initiates and produces events at the Arava Spiritual Center. In 2022 we hosted families of Eritrean refugees and a group of drug addicts in rehabilitation from Malkishua. We call on everyone to join the association's activities and contribute to its existence so that we can reach more and more audiences and spread the good in our world. All donations are recognized for tax deduction purposes (section 46) Thank you very much for your contribution.
