Awareness week for dialysis and nephrology children ‏our activity ‏The Tikva and Marfa organization was established in 2001, and since then it has been the only organization in charge of the improvement of the lives of children with dialysis and nephrology and kidney transplants. There are quite a few small children undergoing dialysis and kidney transplants who face a hectic and complicated life routine. It is very possible that those sick children are around each of us, living on the next street or friends of your child in class, but without us even knowing their sweet children are moving between hospital wards, in long hospitalizations, suffering and nerve-wracking waiting for calmer days. The intense treatment routine prevents them from integrating into society and maintaining a playful and joyful children's routine as children deserve. It is precisely at this point that hope and healing come into play. We are the first and only! to provide a warm and supportive envelope For those children and their families who deal with the serious disease on a daily basis. We are there for them! They see the difficulty, embrace and do everything possible to ease the physical pain and bring health and joy to their tormented souls. The Tikva and Marfa team includes volunteers who do their work faithfully, bond with the little children and accompany them throughout the entire process. As part of the extension envelope that the organization provides to the children and their families, they receive round-the-clock assistance in everything related to dealing with the disease while adjusting and taking into account the various special needs. • Transportation to hospitals • Escort and close supervision of volunteers/national service girls in the department. during the treatment • Mentoring to fill educational gaps • Sessions, music and thinking games • Fulfilling a dream • Financial support until and after transplantation. • Support groups • Hospitality apartments near hospitals • Coffee and pastry carts in hospitals • Holiday camps and more With this endeavor we will continue with all our strength out of a mission and a desire to sweeten the bitter reality and breathe light and hope into it.
