Kollel Ezrat Torah

Aid to those who toil in Torah in attainment of their aspiration to learn, to know & to teach! The Institute grants stipends for assessments/diligence and also supports families who implore for assistance. The Kollel was established in Cheshvan 5768 with one underlying aim: To produce Torah Giants for ‘Am Yisrael!’ The learning ambience, resonance of Torah and uncompromising standards of the young men led to great demand from those who perceive the Kollel as the ladder of their success in Torah study! The Kollel combines several complementary courses of study, which perfect the splendid mosaic of Torah study amidst love and unity of peers, exactly as in the words of our Sages of Blessed Memory (in tractate Avos): ‘The debate of students’ and as Rabbi Chaim Ben Attar- the holy ‘Ohr Hachaim’ nicknamed his Yeshiva, ‘Temple of Love.’ Each month, examinations take place on the monthly material, in addition to the regular periodical assessments and reviews. As aforementioned, the Kollel was founded in Cheshvan 5768 with one objective: To generate Giants in Torah for the benefit of ‘Am Yisrael!’ In order to ascertain the successful management of activities, the association, “Kollel Ezrat Torah,” was established by several affiliates of the Bet Midrash of Chassidei Biala in Ashdod. The Kollel is comprised of almost every sector- Chassidic, Lithuanian, Sephardic and anyone in pursuit of sanctity. The fervent Torah atmosphere reverberating consistently in the Bet Midrash attracts the finest of the studious, forming an assembly in the Kollel that magnetizes all true seekers of Hashem! Additionally, the Institute provides support to Yeshiva students (including non-members) ahead of Holidays, grants special stipends for subsistence and manages projects to lend a hand to needy families pleading for a breath of air! It concerns itself with all in need, ensuring they duly receive the relief they so desperately await.
