Help Us Ensure Sussya's Future

To our brothers and sisters, lovers of the Land of Israel: After years of wandering in the diaspora ,the Jewish People have returned to Israel. We have settled in Sussya, a Jewish village from the end of the Second Temple period. We are surrounded by Arab villages with names dating back to their original Jewish inhabitants. Today, many residents of these villages are active in attempting to endanger our lives as well as violently trying to take our land. As responsible residents of Sussya, we have taken upon ourselves the difficult task of confronting this threat. We are contributing our money, time, and physical labor in order to strengthen our hold on the land through agriculture and active preservation of heritage sites within Sussya. This challenge is great, and there is a lot to do. We are turning to you to be partners in this important project of the Mitzva of settling the Land of Israel. Our immediate needs are in three areas: Agriculture, expanding settled areas, and expanding the infrastructure of roads, electricity, and water. Most of the physical work is done without remuneration by residents, but the cost of materials is high. We have been working on these projects for three years, and have invested $75,000 in contributions from residents of Sussya and neighboring communities. Our current goal is to raise $100,000 in order to complete this stage . Of course, this is in addition to the work done by volunteer builders, electricians, plumbers, and farmers. We would appreciate your becoming part of this important cause through financial contribution.
