Eitan Gur - Running for Hope 2024

My name is Eitan Gur, I'm 39 years old. My wife Noga and I have four children: Lavi, Nevo, Gefen and Karni. I have two very close friends in my life, and both of them have a daughter with cerebral palsy. Centers like Shalva offer a framework that is as essential to these families as the air we breathe. This amazing organization has been operating for over 30 years with the aim to care for children with disabilities, and assist their families with the complexities of raising them. Shalva not only helps families with the day to day demands, but also enables growth and countless moments of happiness. This year I have taken upon myself a new challenge, to run the New York City Marathon for the children of Shalva. My goal is not only to represent Shalva in the marathon, but to raise 30,000 NIS. Every shekel donated will go directly to the righteous activities of Shalva. (All marathon expenses are already covered by sponsors.)
