"החיטה צומחת שוב" מזה שנים רבות קיים קשר הדדי ומיוחד בין קיבוץ "בית השיטה" לקיבוץ "כפר עזה". הקשר המדהים בין שני הקיבוצים התקיים לאורך השנים הן בתקופות טובות והן בעיתות משבר. הקשר בין שני הקיבוצים יצר פרויקט מדהים בעקבות אירועי 10/7: חברי קיבוץ בית השיטה בראשות ניצן סלע ועידו פרבר לקחו על עצמם להחיות ולשמר את הגנים והנוף של קיבוץ כפר עזה. מאז פברואר, במשך כחצי שנה, מגיעים לקיבוץ כפר עזה מתנדבים המגיעים לעבוד בגינות חברי בקיבוץ על מנת לשמר אותם.  עבודת שיקום זו מכניסה חיים חדשים לקיבוץ שנשאר ריק מאז 7/10, ומסייע לתושבי הקיבוץ שננטש בחופזה, ועדיין עסוקים בשיקום אישי, לשמור על סביבתם הביתית. על מנת שהפרויקט יימשך דרוש כסף לרכישת כלי עבודה, מזון למתנדבים ועוד “The wheat grows again" For many years, there have been mutual and special relationship between kibbutz "Beit Hashita" and kibbutz "Kfar Aza". The amazing relationship between the two kibbutzim existed over the years both in good times and in times of crisis. The connection between the two kibbutzim established an amazing project following the events of 7/10: The members of kibbutz Beit-Hashita, led by Nitzan Sela and Ido Farber, took it upon themselves to revive and preserve the the gardens and landscape of kibbutz Kfar Aza. Since February, for about six months, the kibbutz Kfar Aza is visited by volunteers who come to work in the kibbutz's landscapes and the private family’s gardens and property in order to preserve them. - This restoration work brings new life to the kibbutz that has remained empty since 7/10, and helps the residents of the hastily abandoned kibbutz, who are still busy with personal rehabilitation, to maintain their home environment. In order for the project to continue, money is needed to purchase work tools, food for volunteers and more.
