Gilad's Bar Mitzvah

To mark his Bar Mitzvah, Gilad chose to take part in Hugs for Heroes – חיבוק לגיבורים, a project of Just One Chesed that honors the memory of Israel’s fallen soldiers from October 7, 2023. Through this initiative, pairs of tefillin are donated in their memory and given to soldiers who lost their tefillin in battle, have decided to begin putting them on, or cannot afford a pair. Gilad has been volunteering with the project, helping gather information about the fallen soldiers and preparing the tefillin for the recipients. He would now like to raise at least 3,500₪ to sponsor a pair of tefillin in memory of one of Israel’s heroes.
