Liana Aeder's Bat Mitzvah Project: Help Support Youth at Susan's House For my Bat Mitzvah, I will be traveling to Israel and visiting Susan's House in Jerusalem, and I am inviting friends and family to join me in making a difference. Susan's House is a safe haven and workshop for at-risk youth in Jerusalem. Through creating beautiful glasswork, ceramics, and jewelry, teens find meaning, support, and a paid salary, while developing the self-worth and life skills they need to build a future for themselves. Even a small contribution goes a long way. A donation can supply clay for a class, kiln time for a group project, or a set of starter jewelry tools, and with it, the building blocks of confidence and a livelihood for a young person who needs it most.
