Kodesh V'Chol in Holon

Kodesh V'Chol in Holon- a home at last! For sixteen years, Kodesh V'Chol has been a driving force in the midst of the growing ultra conservative and extremist winds. The existence of our community is much more than a symbol, it is a national assertion - that reform Judaism is here to stay. Last August, the district court ruled in our favour in the long going case regarding the promised allocated land, as we advocate for equal rights for each religious community in Holon. The municipality appealed and disregarded the court's order to provide a temporary space for the community. After which, we filed a motion for contempt of court. We have a long legal battle ahead of us but we are done waiting- we have found a long term home for our community: A space we can rent, lightly renovate &furnish. A space we can finally call ours, a space in which to gather, teach, celebrate. A space which will become the first Reform Synagogue in Holon. We have launched a crowdfunding campaign in Israel to raise the funds needed to secure our new home. Now we turn to our partners abroad to help write the next chapter of this story with us. Let's make this dream a reality. We are so close.
