Preserving Israel's History

Israel's first Prime MInister's Residence was the home of David Ben-Gurion, Levi Eshkol and Golda Meir and, since 2016, serves the Yad Levi Eshkol Foundation as its base of educational initiatives. The home is partially used as a refurbished visitors' center in memory of Israel's third prime minister, open to public visits. In its daily work, the foundation offers ongoing educational activities: public lectures, workshops on leadership and decision-making, courses on improving individual financial conduct, etc. The former prime ministers' residence also holds the personal archives of Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and as a publishing house for historical academic research. Yad Levi Eshkol is a non-governmental organization and relies on public support to maintain the building entrusted to it by the state.
