RBS Gimmel we continue to flourish in a manner of "Lechatchila Ariber!" The Chabad community in RBS Gimmel has earned a reputation as a pioneer in building a new community. The unique story began with establishing a caravan against all odds which merited to receive the green light from local authorities, continued with establishing a building twice the size within one year, and many other impressive projects. The community size grew by 100% in less than three years, and it continues to grow. In the Shul, every person feels at home. Israeli and new immigrants, Haredim and traditional Jews, worshippers from all different backgrounds, everyone enjoys the special atmosphere and can find a personal connection with the Shul. The Shul activity is led by the energetic Shalich Rabbi Binyamin Mendelson Shlita and Rabbi Chaim Eliyahu Gluckovsky Shlita. In these days in Elul, the community is involved in preparing for Tishrei, (as "pioneers never take vacation...") and have launched a new project: establishing smooth access pathways to the Shul, new entrances for the men and women, and constructing bathrooms. Rabbi Mendelson who is on the ground daily shares the exciting plans which hopes to be completed by Rosh Hashana: "As you can see, we are always on the ground, just like we were exactly two years ago when we launched the construction project and invited friends to open their heart just before Rosh Hashana. We are confident that this year we will succeed again in this exciting project!"
