55th Paratrooper Brigade Foundation

The IDF’s 55th Paratrooper Brigade is one of the most decorated units in Israel’s reserve army, and we invite you to support its current and former soldiers, as well as the bereaved families who are part of us and whose sacrifice is never forgotten. From when the 55th Brigade liberated the Old City of Jerusalem during the 1967 Six Day War, and its commander made the famous statement “The Temple Mount is in our hands,” through the crossing of the Suez Canal in the final push of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, and until the recent battles in Kfar Aza, the Gaza Strip and Lebanon in the Swords of Iron War, the unit has been pivotal in Israel’s wars and history. These reservists demonstrate what it means to be deeply committed to defending our People and our Country, and show in their behaviour and actions what camaraderie looks like. Every donation, recurring or spontaneous, enables us to continue and support those who are willing to say “follow me” and do what is needed to protect the People and State of Israel.
