Bizchut

Bizchut, The Israel Human Rights Center for People with Disabilities is the leading and longest running human rights organization that is devoted to promoting the rights of persons with disabilities in Israel. Bizchut posits that individuals, with all types of disabilities, have the right to full equality and inclusion in society. Bizchut ensures that all persons with disabilities, especially the needs of more vulnerable, marginalized communities, and those with more complex disability issues receive representation. Bizchut’s wide agenda leads to a broad target audience— persons with disabilities and family members, disability organizations, professionals, civil servants, and government officials. Bizchut works both from the top down and from the bottom up, monitoring and challenging discriminatory policy and taking action that directly improves the lives of individuals with disabilities.
