The Parents Circle – Families Forum

The Parents Circle - Families Forum is a unique grassroots organization, whose power stems from the collaborative work of its members – more than 700 Palestinian and Israeli bereaved families who have all lost a loved one to the conflict. With the unprecedented hostility that has now emerged between the sides, the Forum presents a different and much needed perspective.  Our goal is to inspire with a sense of empathy and reconciliation, rather than hatred and revenge. We, who have paid the highest price stand for the sanctity of life. We must maintain our moral and humane position and refuse to give in to vengeance. We will continue to do our utmost to make sure that hatred will not take over. We choose to work side by side in partnership to build a better future for everyone. For too many years this region has endured excessive pain and bloodshed. It is indisputable that we must change the situation.  We mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers, children, wives, and husbands who have lost loved ones, understand that the pain of loss is the same for both sides, and the tears that fall are no different.   Please support our call for a safe and secure future, free of fear and filled with hope for all people living in this land.
