Enosh, the leading and largest core organization in Israel in the field of mental health, providing groundbreaking prevention, early intervention and rehabilitation services based on a trauma-focused approach, with ongoing flexibility and adaptation to evolving needs. With approximately 1,500 employees and 1,300 volunteers, we provide services nationwide to around 18,190 individuals of all ages and their families, including from the Jewish, Arab, ultra-Orthodox, and various communities such as Amharic and Russian speakers, across 96 activity centers. The association's services include a range of interventions, starting from tailored support for youth and young adults in headspace centers, through respite homes, and emergency shelters. Additionally, we offer counseling to families in need of assistance and provide a complete system of support covering all needs—from early intervention to hospitalization alternatives and long-term community-based rehabilitation services. Enosh's work approach is founded on the understanding that trauma lies at the core of psychological coping. The organization has gained extensive experience through intensive work with individuals diagnosed with complex and enduring trauma resulting from various life events such as sexual assault, violence, war and emergency crisis. In 2019, we were honored with the international Zero Project award for innovation and uniqueness in the field trauma combined with mental health. Our specialized staff have developed treatment plans for coping with the unique symptoms of trauma, and for acquiring emotional regulation skills and navigating life challenges in the shadow of traumatic experiences. Our Activity During Iron Swords War : Since the beginning of the war, we've been actively involved on multiple fronts, utilizing our expertise both on the internal organizational level and through rapid, proactive measures to address needs outside the organization. As a nationwide organization prepared to operate in emergencies, we quickly trained our teams to provide tailored responses to thousands of individuals facing mental health challenges and their families across different sectors. Additionally, we’re leading initiatives for both the general public and targeted populations dealing with trauma.
