Eretz-Ir

Eretz-Ir is a professional, organizational, and economic platform operating since 2006 that supports residents positively influencing the place they live. We connect with residents who want to create change in their environment and help them to organize, acquire professional tools, and meet like-minded partners. We support local activists, communities, and social entrepreneurs who live in the periphery of Israel and strive to make their cities good, positive places to live. As a platform providing these services to local communities and social entrepreneurs, we are also able to identify the local leadership that can drive forward this desired change - increasing equal opportunities for all. It is imperative to give a voice to these initiatives and their leaders, those unheard and distant from the policy makers who influence their lives without fully understanding their needs or lived experience. For the past 17 years, we have worked with 60 local leaders annually that represent Eretz-Ir communities and social entrepreneurs via professional training and skills building. These initiatives produce some 120 projects every year that influence the wider Israeli society. We truly believe that THE BEST CITIES START WITH THEIR PEOPLE!
