Kav Lachayim is a social movement established in 1991 aiming to improve the life quality of sick people and people with disabilities. Kav Lachayim operates in three main fields: 1. Organizing fun and leisure activities for children with disabilities in conjunction with healthy youth, thus creating a social change in the behavior of the society to people with disabilities. 2. Assisting sick people with cancer and other severe diseases in fund raising for saving-life treatments not included in the national health insurance or that may only be provided abroad and supporting their families during the entire period of struggle to save the life of their beloved ones. 3. Operating a virtual social pharmacy for supplying oncologist medications not included in the national health insurance, at discounted prices ( with no margin or overhead costs).
