NAVAH Organization

Navah was established in 2003 with the goal of providing emotional support for families bereaved by the horrific terrorist attacks of the Second Intifada. Our support was later expanded to include the families of disaster victims. When tragedy strikes, a family’s life is turned upside down – every aspect of normal functioning is affected, from employment and finances to parenting, relationships, and health. Faced with the sudden loss of a loved one, parents and spouses need extensive, empathetic support to help them land back on their feet, finding the strength and ability to go on. This is when Navah enters the family’s life. We provide critical emotional support during these very difficult times, relieving the family’s sense of aloneness by showing solidarity with and compassion for their loss and giving them the tools and resources to cope with their new reality.
