Spirit of Israel

The Spirit of Israel, non- profit organization, was established by The Jewish Agency in 1998 as a platform for meaningful social action aimed at strengthening Israeli society through volunteer engagement. We work to reduce social gaps and empower underserved populations, with a focus on youth and communities in the geographic, social, and economic periphery. The Spirit of Israel initiates and partners in unique programs led by The Jewish Agency to support youth and young adults, new immigrants, and lone immigrant soldiers. Since October 7th, recognizing that Israel is facing an unprecedented national crisis, The Spirit of Israel has mobilized to support victims of terror in Israel. Understanding the immense resources required for their recovery, The Israeli Spirit joined The Jewish Agency’s Fund for Victims of Terror, which provides comprehensive assistance—including emergency grants and full support system. Together with the Fund, we are launching therapeutic intervention programs for individuals and groups impacted by the attacks, based on the understanding that personal recovery is strengthened through a sense of community and belonging. The Spirit of Israel engages donors, foundations, and businesses to support wide-ranging social initiatives that deliver meaningful and measurable impact.
