Our Lone Soldiers

Join us to help the Lone Soldiers from Atlanta and St Louis who made Aliyah to Israel For more than 25 years the Federations of Atlanta and St Louis have connected and supported the communities in Yokneam and the Megido region. Now we want to support the soldiers who come to Israel from Atlanta and St Louis. Lone soldiers who make Aliyah in order to join the Israeli army face many challenges, some of which have increased during the coronavirus crisis. We want to provide these young men and women with the support and encouragement they need to help them through their army service here in Israel. Together we will be their family to come and visit on the base before holidays with arms filled with care packages and homemade food! Together we will maintain personal connections with each Lone Soldier to listen to them and help them however we can. Together we will organize gatherings and fun activities for the Lone Soldiers as a group to help them recharge to continue their service. Together with you we will become their family and their second home! The project is led by the Israeli steering committee volunteers of the Yokneam-Megido-Atlanta-St Louis Partnership.
