Hotam - Teach First Israel

Since the beginning of the war, Hotam (TFI) has been tirelessly working to offer essential educational assistance to children who have experienced unimaginable traumas in the Gaza Envelope and communities impacted by the conflict. Our organization recruits and trains educational teams, establishes temporary schools and provides holistic support to existing schools, which includes emotional, social, and educational support for those in need. These activities are planned for the next two years and are continuously tailored to these communities’ evolving needs. We need your help to ensure the best educational solution for these children who anticipate another significant period of changes and instability. About us: Hotam (TFI) is a social and educational organization that train people who have leadership qualities, and who want to improve the educational system, to be teachers, principals and educational leaders. We specialize in mentoring our trainees and other educators and providing them with the knowledge and tools necessary to afford all children an equal opportunity for a better future regardless of their background. Over the past 14 years, Hotam has worked in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, local authorities and academic institutions in Israel, and was established as part of the highly - regarded international network "Teach for All," which is active in dozens of countries worldwide. Throughout the years, Hotam has trained over 1,500 teachers who work at hundreds of schools in Israel.
