Emergency aid - education in times of war

Hotam (TFI) is providing urgent assistance to the children from the south of Israel who were on the front line of the fighting, lost family members and friends and some were left homeless. 1. Support for all educators in Ofakim- the southern city went through an inferno and lost dozens of people. TFI educators and other professionals will support principals and teachers to enable them to organize educational activities adapted to the situation. They will be helped to fulfill their role with the students in these difficult days. The operation is in partnership with the director of the education department in the city and school principals. 2. Educational Support for evacuees - creating an educational system for the children who have gone through unimaginable days of horror. Large teams of educators, backed by other professionals, arrive at the hotels where the survivors of the southern communities are staying and establish educational systems adapted to children of different ages from scratch, in order to provide essential educational and emotional support. We work in coordination with the Ministry of Education. 3. Support for schools and educators in the south- Personal mentoring and creating a network of activities and reinforcement of the educational system. In order to succeed, we need your help.
