About the Hannaton Educational Center
Founded in 2009 at Kibbutz Hannaton in Israel’s Galilee, the Hannaton Educational Center is both a physical campus and a growing movement for pluralistic Jewish leadership in Israel.
Rooted in traditional, egalitarian, and inclusive Jewish practice, Hannaton serves as a vibrant hub for learning, service, and social change. We believe Israel’s Jewish-democratic future depends on leaders who can hold complexity — honoring tradition while embracing diversity, strengthening Zionism while deepening shared society.

The Lone Soldier Program marks a significant expansion of our impact — creating Israel’s first residential framework for Lone Soldiers rooted in a pluralistic Jewish campus environment.
