You can make Ascent’s programs accessible to thousands who need them!Ascent in Tsfat provides both a welcoming space and inspiring programs for young Jewish people to connect to themselves, to each other and to their Jewish roots and homeland. Ascent opened its doors and heart 40 years ago, and has hosted over 850,000 young Jewish people! Ascent’s flagship program is Jewish identity and leadership courses for IDF soldiers in conjunction with the Israeli Ministry of Defense. Ascent continues to be the #1 choice for the IDF to enhance morale and motivation for Israel’s future leaders. In the holy city of Tsfat, with the Galilee mountains as a backdrop, Ascent shares experiences that instill Jewish identity and engagement for life. Activities include tours of Tsfat, highlighting its rich history, musical Kabbalat Shabbat and Havdalah services, meditations, workshops, meals with local families and the opportunity to exchange deep and meaningful thoughts and conversations with others. 70% of Ascent program costs are covered. 30% needs to come from donations. $80,000 per month, $960,000 a year! For the over 6,000 people who come to Ascent each month, we are asking you for an $18 donation per person to cover the shortfall for one day of thrilling activities!
