Donation for Kibbutz Saad

Feb 2024: Kibbutz Saad, a Western Negev community, was evacuated immediately following the murderous attacks in that region on October 7, 2023.  Most of the Saad community was relocated to a hotel at the Dead Sea. In recent weeks many families have moved to other locations more suited to family life.  Possible return to Saad is now under discussion.  Some people have already gone back to live on the kibbutz. Others are waiting for decisions as to whether and when the school, clinic, etc. will be able to resume activity. This is a time of uncertainty. In the meantime, there is much to be done on the kibbutz itself: repair of buildings, serious landscape maintenance, upgrading of security measures, addition of protective shelters. Your donation will be used to support the people of Saad during their evacuation, and to help the community in their work to restore the kibbutz to its former beauty.
