***How incredible that we got such generous gifts offline, and therefore, we can lower our needed goal here!*** Niji Dojo was established in 2016 in order to provide a space for children, teens, and adults on the autistic spectrum and with ADD/ADHD to practice sport, life skills, and to build a supportive community for them and their families in the Negev. Located in Be’er Sheva, the metropolitan center of the Negev, the dojo has over 100 students, both with special needs and without, from ages 4 to 120 practicing a range of sports and movement therapies in order to improve their quality of life. Niji is taking the next step to provide services to even more children, teens, and adults in the Negev by moving into a bigger dojo in a central location in Be’er Sheva. The new space is 100% handicap accessible and will feature enough tatami for three groups to train simultaneously, as well as a fully equipped gym, a private treatment room, and a families’ room. This will turn Niji Dojo into THE center for integrating those with special needs into sports in the Negev. And we need you! Niji Dojo is a social business providing a critically needed service that is not readily available in this part of Israel. With your support, we can more than triple the amount of students who have a safe, accepting place to build strength, life skills, and friendships that will help them for years to come.  That’s Niji Dojo - Karate.
